The Gender Moxie Project is generously supported by the Spencer Foundation.

We are a research group at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst looking at the experiences and resiliencies of transgender, nonbinary and  other gender diverse young people, ages 4 -13 years old.

We want to learn about and support children, their families, their teachers and their peers. We use what we learn to help parents and families, as well as schools, communities and other institutions, to better understand and support children and young people of all genders.

If you are the parent or caregiver of a child who is gender diverse and may want to get involved in the study, please consider contacting the Principal Investigator, Dr. Sally Campbell at sally@educ.umass.edu for more information.
